بالعربية والإنجليزية: أنا زهقت من 63 تحت الإحتلال

زهقت أن أشوف اللغة العبرية على هويتي

I’m sick of people not knowing about our history and knowing much about the history of Jewish people.

زهقت ان الناس بتعرف برة عن تاريخ اليهود مما تعرف عن تاريخنا

I’m sick of people ignoring the Palestinian right of return and accepting the Jewish Right of Return

زهقت أن الناس بتعطي الأولوية لقانون العودة لاي إنسان على حق العودة لكل لاجىء فلسطيني.

I’m sick of Oslo agreement which no one here wanted in the first place.

زهقت من اتفاقية اوسلو اللي ما كان حدا بدو إياها.

I’m sick of the Palestinian Authority having zero authority.

زهقت أن السلطة الفلسطينية ما عندها أي سلطة.

I’m sick of watching my father being humiliated at checkpoints by people of my age and younger.

زهقت أن واحد بعمري أو أصغر بذل أبوي على محسوم.

I’m sick of my international friends having to lie about coming to visit: being interrogated and strip searched and sometimes deported in the process.

زهقت من اصحاب الأجانب ان لازم يكذبوا علشان يجوا هون وأحيانا برحلوهم بس علشان قضوا وقت مع فلسطينية.

I’m sick of people not knowing what “occupation” is

زهقت ان ما في واحد بتفهم إيش هي الحياة تحت إحتلال.

I’m sick of being scared all the time

أنا زهقت من أن أكون خايفة طول الوقت.

I’m sick of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, being a normal state of being here in Palestine.

زهقت ان اضطراب ما بعد الصدمة صار حالة طبيعية للإنسان الفلسطيني.

I’m sick of how ineffective the UN has become.

زهقت من عدم فعالية الأمم المتحدة.

I’m sick of international Humanitarian Law not applying to the state of Israel.

زهقت إن القانون الدولي الإنساني ما بينطبق على الدولة الإسرائيلية.

I’m sick of how fighting for the basic human rights for Palestinians, or critical of Israeli policy is so often labeled “anti Semitism”.

زهقت ان لو حدا بدافع عن الحقوق الأساسية للفلسطينيين او حتى بس لو انتقد السياسة الإسرائيلية، بيعتبروا معادي للسامية.

I’m sick of the fact that everyone forgets I’m a Semite.

زهقت ان الكل نسي انو إحنا كمان ساميين.

زهقت أسمع الاسرائيلية بيتذمروا من العنصرية لما حقيقة مبدأ دولتهم الأساسي يتمحور حول النقاء العرقي.

زهقت أنو عايشه في زمن مقبول فيه تصنيف الناس حسب عرقهم.

I’m sick of constantly being treated as a suspect.

زهقت أني دايما بتعامل على إني إنسان مشبوه.

زهقت كيف الإعلام العالمي بصورنا وبيعرض قضيتنا ووضعنا

I’m sick of the whole world caring about Gilad Shalit when there are more than 7000 Palestinians inside Israeli prisons.

زهقت أن في اكتر من 7000 سجين فلسطيني في السجون الإسرائيلية والعالم وضعوا اهتمامهم على شاليط.

I’m sick of trying to defend myself, friends, countrymen and being labeled a terrorist.

زهقت لما أحاول أن ادافع عن حالي أو عيلتي أو اصحابي، بيحكوا عني إرهابية.  

I’m sick of the fact that everywhere I go, I can see the wall, a settlement, Israeli soldier.

زهقت انو وين ما بتطلع بشوف يا إما جدار أو مستوطنة أو جندي إسرائيلي.

I’m sick of 63 years of Israeli occupation.

أنا زهقت من 63 سنة تحت احتلال.
