Roughly two weeks ago, settlers from the Kohav Hashahar settlement put up two tents on a hilltop belonging to residents of Kufer Malek and set up a new outpost. Despite repeatedly raising the issue with the Israeli Civil Administration, directly and through the Palestinian coordination office, the settlers remain on the land.
The people of Kufer Malik, located 17 km north east of Ramllah, will protest the establishment of the new outpost tomorrow, together with Israeli and international supporters. The procession will set out from the village's mosque after the midday prayer, and will head towards the seized lands.
